PRAISE FOR THE BOOK

Most attempts at servant leadership start with practices and skip the inner place from which they flow. This is why many leaders fail and quit at servant leadership. Thankfully, Malcolm Hankins, in The Servant Leadership Journal, gives us a 30-day guide to getting servant leadership right.

OUR SERVICES

Communicate Care was born from the desire to see people serve one another with compassion. A husband and wife team with over 30 combined years in local government service and 10 years in ministry, recognized the universal language of care lacking in our workplace, in our customer service experiences and in daily one-on-one interactions. After countless instances of feeling disappointed by the lack of care we witnessed, we felt compelled to share our experiences and encourage others to demonstrate care to others and lead while serving. Care is teachable. It is our commitment and hope to demonstrate the personal, organizational, and relational benefits of communicating care in every circumstance across every institution.

ABOUT MALCOLM

“When people truly matter, we will find them treated with kindness, care and compassion.”

Malcolm Hankins is a public servant, pastor,  and author.  Instrumental in furthering the mission of First Watch Ministries, a church designed to love and support the marginalized, Malcolm enjoys serving, meeting new people, problem-solving, and spending time with family.

Having more than 30-years of public service experience in neighborhood issues and community engagement, Malcolm recognized a disconnect between how organizations address the needs of others and the natural desire of people to feel respected and cared about. His genuine desire is to improve the interactions of people leaders towards a more kind and compassionate community.  This led him and his wife Joy to found Communicate Care. Malcolm is a Phoenix Seminary graduate with a Master’s Degree in Ministry.
